Tourism Department Gilgit-Baltistan prepared virtual information screens/boards having QR Codes for the convenience of tourists. The virtual boards have been handed over to the Deputy Commissioners of all districts of Gilgit-Baltistan to install at tourist places and highways, especially at entry points where 3G and 4G signals are available. Tourists will be able to scan the QR Codes and get the designed map & information on their smartphones and view the relevant tourist destinations. These virtual boards will be very useful for the tourists to get better information and guidance of the area and step towards paper-less information sharing following responsible tourism ethics.
